Gods and The Chaos Engine coming to the Atari Jaguar!

Two new Jaguar ports are making their way to the Atari Jaguar and these are of ports of The Bitmap Brothers titles Gods and Chaos Engine

They are due to appear at the 2022
Portland Retro Gaming Expo in mid-October!

These games will be available to purchase form the AtariAge Store later in the year. There will be Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit and Atari 7800 also being showcased at this expo.

Information about the games:

Gods is a 1991 video game by The Bitmap Brothers where the player is cast as Hercules in his quest to achieve immortality. The game was first made for Amiga and Atari ST computers and then ported to various other platforms.

The Chaos Engine is a top-down run and gun video game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software in March 1993. The game is set in a steampunk Victorian age in which one or two players must battle the hostile creations of the eponymous Chaos Engine across four landscapes and ultimately defeat it and its deranged inventor.

Looking at the videos which appear on the AtariAge forum these ports look quite impressive and it's great to see this community bringing classic well loved titles to a console which doesn't get enough praise.

Being new to this community itself, I can't wait to see the reaction these titles will get and also more games to come, here is a video that my friend Alex from Gamesreup has made on his channel, check it out.
